Grid cloth 1/4 voor een 4 × 4ft butterfly- of gelframe (1,20 × 1,20 m). Het gridpatroon diffuseert het licht maar houdt het gericht, zodat je zacht licht krijgt dat toch nog richting heeft. De 1/4 is de lichtste van de twee: je haalt de scherpste randjes van je schaduwen zonder je lamp helemaal te temmen. Ideaal wanneer je wél zachter licht wilt maar je contrast wilt bewaren — denk aan interviews met karakter, portretten en productwerk waar vorm belangrijk is. Let op: dit is het doek.
