Rent a camera, drone or projector near you

The owner sets the day price, so it is shown per listing. For orientation, measured on 15 September 2026 at a Dutch projector rental company: a basic projector of around 2,800 lumens sits at €20 a day there, home-cinema models roughly between €25 and €85, and only at 4K or six thousand lumens does it climb to €80 and up (market figures, not Huurmarkt prices). On Huurmarkt you pay the day price × the number of calendar days, plus the deposit and any delivery cost; you see that total before you pay, and picking up on Friday and returning on Monday counts as four days. It depends on the light in the room and on how large the image has to be: in a darkened room a few thousand lumens will get you a long way, in a hall with daylight or on a big screen you want considerably more, and projecting outdoors asks the most. Choose the Presentation & Projection subcategory and the filters Brightness in lumens (100 to 30,000) and Screen size in inches appear; they hang off the subcategory, so you will not see them across the whole category. Registration and proof of competence belong to the pilot, not to the aircraft: whoever flies arranges their own registration and keeps to the rules for the area they fly in. Under Drones & Aerial Imaging, 'Drone registration required' is a filter, so you can search for or skip aircraft that call for it; ask the owner before you book what applies to this drone. Agree straight away how many batteries come along, whether spare propellers are included and which case it travels in. A driving licence rarely comes up with electronics, but an owner can require ID verification. See Renter-owner chat.

That is shown per listing under 'Included accessories' — where the owner notes which lens comes along, or that everything travels in a flight case. Do not assume memory cards, a second battery, a tripod or XLR and HDMI cables are included; ask in the chat before you book, and at the same time how the gear should come back — clean, charged and complete in its case is a normal request. With a speaker or mixer, add the question about power supply. Count what you receive at handover: missing parts on return count as loss. See Item return.

Report it through the platform straight away, with your photos from pick-up and return. For theft, a police report is mandatory: without a police report number a claim cannot be assessed, and missing parts or accessories on return count as loss. Where Huurmarkt protection is on for the listing, the deposit is used first and the risk pool can then top up to €2,000 per report, for a product value up to €10,000; Huurmarkt assesses every report and there is no entitlement to a payout. That ceiling bites in this category in particular: a professional camera or drone kit is soon worth more than €2,000, and the owner can claim anything above it directly from the renter.
