How late can I book?

Why two hours#

There is a person on the other end. The owner has to see your request, get the item ready and be there when you arrive. Booking for ten minutes from now sounds convenient, but it almost always ends in a missed handover — and then you are the one standing at a closed door.

Two hours is short enough to rent the same day, and long enough to make it happen.

How it works in practice#

The limit counts from the pick-up moment, not from the date. If you pick a pick-up time of 09:00 while it is already 10:00, that moment has passed; it won't be accepted, even though the date is today.

Pick 13:00 instead and it goes through.

If it doesn't work#

Seeing a message that your pick-up time is too soon? Choose a later time on the same day. If it really has to be earlier, message the owner through the chat on the listing — they can tell you whether it works for them.

This limit applies to everyone and is fixed; you cannot set your own (yet). If you need more preparation time, say so in your listing or house rules.
